Classes and Workshops

Our weekly pottery classes run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at our studio at Munns, Windmill Street, Gravesend. Classes are booked by the term, with each session lasting 2.5 hours.

You’ll learn a range of hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling and slab building. All tools are provided, with a small additional charge for clay.

The course starts Monday 14 September and includes 13 sessions, with one week off for half term. The full term costs £325.

Private throwing sessions are held at Clubbs Yard Studios and are suitable for complete beginners, or those wanting to build confidence on the wheel.

Each session lasts 2 hours and includes unlimited clay during the session. At the end, you can choose up to three pieces to be trimmed, glazed and fired.

£100 for a 1:1 session

A small, structured evening class for adults who want to develop their hand-building and throwing skills in a supportive studio setting.

​

This class is held at Clubbs Yard Studios.  Thursday evenings, 6.00–8.30 pm. It is ideal for those who would like regular time in the studio, with demonstrations, guidance and space to develop their own ideas.

​

Join us for our pottery taster sessions and master classes, these are perfect if you want a pottery experience or try a more specialist making technique.  Your work will be glazed and fired for a small charge of clay. Dates are to be confirmed, so stay tuned for more information.
