I’m Naomi, a ceramicist, educator, and founder of The Wonky Potter. With a background in Fine Art and a first-class degree in Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martins, my practice combines strong technical foundations with a love for process, experimentation, and the beauty of imperfection. I specialise in porcelain and Nerikomi, and I’m just as committed to teaching as I am to making.

Through The Wonky Potter, I run accessible pottery classes for adults, families, and supported learning groups across Gravesend and Medway. I also deliver pop-up workshops, charity events, and community clay projects that encourage people to connect through making, often working with schools, cultural venues, and care organisations.

Alongside this, I teach pottery as part of Medway Council’s Adult Education programme, supporting a wide range of learners, including those with additional needs.

Whether I’m teaching beginners, developing collaborative projects, or working with other artists, my aim is to create spaces where people feel included, supported, and able to develop their own creative voice.
